About Me

Justin: Hi, my name is Mr. DeCotiis, and I wanted to share a little about myself with you. I was born in Belmar, NJ, and I have lived there ever since. I am an avid surfer, snowboarder, swimmer, runner, and hiker. I enjoy anything having to do with the outdoors. I am also called by many "a world traveler" I love to travel to all different places of the world, and I am also interested in the study of languages. I currently speak a fair amount of Spanish, and I one day hope to speak Italian and Greek! My love of biology comes from my love of life. I love all things that grow, including, BACTERIA! I find it fascinating that there is life on almost every square inch of the planet. I studied at Rutgers, and earned a BA in Biological Sciences in May 2006. I then immediately started my Masters in Science Education Program, at Rutgers. I look forward to teaching you and watching you grow throughout the year.
